A Glossary of Sadramble Terms
neurotic loop
n. the deeply ingrained neural pathway that exists around a person's story of why they are in pain, why the can't change, whose fault it is, why nothing you suggest will work, etc. The neurotic loop is on repeat play in the mind of the sadramble, and therefore it takes only the mildest of triggers in the environment to activate the verbal playback.
The neurotic loop is a closed system, akin to the circling of wagons against external threats (positive change).
sadramble
v. to buy into and reinforce victimhood via neurotic repetition of one's sad, sad story.
n. a person who engages in sadrambles, often at the expense of others' growth and learning.
